On February 6, 2022, Guangzhou reported one new case of COVID-19 in Da Shi, Panyu.
Following the confirmed case, the Guangzhou Municipal Government announced strict epidemic prevention and control measures.
Dachong Road and Dashi Street in Da Shi are temporarily closed and residents are isolating at home.
All non-essential businesses within the region have suspended operations and public transport and vehicles are prohibited from passing the area.
