Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has retained its Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for another year; marking the sixth consecutive year the luxurious hotel has received the prestigious award. Additionally, the hotel’s award-winning Hua Spa was also awarded a Four-Star rating from Forbes.

Both honors were officially announced by Forbes Travel Guide earlier this month.

“The coveted Five-Star rating by the Forbes Travel Guide honors the ‘best-of-the-best’ hotels globally. This award is dedicated to our exceptional team whose unwavering commitment to our guests is unparalleled,” said Mr. Patrick Pollak, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. “This award serves to remind all of us the importance of the small details and delivering service from the heart.”

Since opening in 2012, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has consistently been recognized for its iconic design and excellent service standards.

Other recent awards and honors bestowed upon the hotel include the Voyage Magazine’s ‘TOP 50 Must-stay Hotels,’ Michelin One Star at Yu Yue Heen Cantonese restaurant and ‘Best Online Star Spa of the Year by SpaChina.

The hotel is in Guangzhou’s prestigious Tianhe central business district, nestled among the city’s top landmarks, such as the Guangzhou Opera House. Hotel guest rooms are uniquely situated from the 74th to 98th floors of the International Finance Center, with stunning panoramic views of the Pearl River and Guangzhou’s constantly evolving (and unquestionably spectacular) skyline.

Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world.

For those not in the know, the Forbes Travel Guide is the only independent global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas. Started as Mobil Travel Guide in 1958, the company created the first Five-Star rating system in the United States.

Today, Forbes Travel Guide’s incognito inspectors travel the world, evaluating properties based on up to 900 rigorous, objective standards. The company’s annual Star Ratings, reviews and daily travel stories help discerning travelers select the world’s best luxury experiences.
