UPDATE (November 4, 2019 at 3.30pm CST): As of 3.20pm, Liam is still missing. A search party is being organized to aid in ongoing efforts to find the missing 3-year-old and will meet at 6pm in front of Central Plaza Building B (越秀区建设大马路22号中环广场B座1楼大堂).
A 3-year-old boy named Liam is currently missing in Guangzhou, after disappearing last night in the city’s Yuexiu district.
The boy, who is an American citizen, according to a staffer at the Consulate General of the United States in Guangzhou, was last seen by himself on surveillance footage at 11.50pm in a building near Taojin Metro Station.

Liam’s primary language is English, although he can also speak French; he cannot speak Chinese, according to the consulate employee. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a sky-blue T-shirt and black and blue flip flops.
