The South China-based band is touring with their latest offering, Home, Destiny and the Mist from the Beginning of This Century, which is the band members’ reflection on the ever-changing art scene in China. The substantial use of slow rhythms and delays contributes to the band’s musical aesthetics, which is well demonstrated in their new album.

Sat, Jan 12: Heyo @ SD Livehouse
Hong Kong rapper Heyo has received quite a bit of attention since his second full-length album, Huahua花华, was released back in 2016. His mellow vibes recall more than a little bit of a funk influence, and an appreciation for the production value of conscious hip hop. He is joined on the evening by Vyan, with whom he released a new album in the middle of last year.
Sat Jan 12, 8pm; RMB120 presale, RMB150 at the door. SD Livehouse. See event listing. Tickets.
