Tickets on Sale Now for Guangzhou's 2018 Santa Pub Crawl

December 1 will be far from a ‘Silent Night’ in Guangzhou, as the 15th annual Guangzhou Santa Pub Crawl returns to the city. Arguably the city’s hottest holiday event, the Guangzhou Santa Pub Crawl is one of Canton’s largest and best attended pub crawls, with close to 300 attendees last year!

Today, we are excited to announce that tickets for the pub crawl are on sale now at The Happy Monk Xingsheng Lu, Morgan’s Public House and The Paddy Field. Tickets cost RMB250 and include transportation between venues, snacks and all-you-can-drink booze, which, quite frankly, is difficult to beat.

This probably goes without saying, but tickets are expected to sell out faster than Santa’s supernatural, reindeer-pulled sleigh – so don’t delay!

Now, one last extremely important point before we dive into the nitty-gritty details of the 2018 Guangzhou Santa Pub Crawl: people who do not arrive at the event in full costume will not be allowed to board the buses or participate in the event, a Santa hat will not cut it, so plan accordingly and check out our handy guide on where to purchase a Santa costume in Guangzhou.

So what is the Santa Pub Crawl exactly, and how does it work?

Now in its 15th year, the event was started by the gentlemen at the Whiskey Appreciation Society as a way to give back to the community and help holiday-deprived Guangzhou expats reconnect with their Christmas spirt. Last year, the event managed to raise RMB20,000 for charity.

This year’s Santa Pub Crawl will take place on Saturday, December 1, and take attendees to a minimum of four venues via chartered buses! The party will start at The Paddy Field, near the LN Garden Hotel, at 6pm and buses will leave to the next venue at 7.30pm, sharp! The rest of the itinerary is a closely guarded secret, although we can attest: this year’s boozy roster is an all-star lineup.
