Thu, Sept 27: Nachtblut @ Mao Livehouse
German dark metal band Nachtblut is visiting Guangzhou as the last stop on their China tour. Nachtblut became well-known in Europe courtesy of their 2009, self-produced album Antik, the rhythmic songs of which are set to rock the stage of Mao Livehouse this week.

Fri, Sept 28: Fcyco @ Mao Livehouse
Coming all the way from the spicy East, Fcyco is a relative newcomer on the rap scene keen on making a big name for himself on the national music stage. Having played sets at Ultra China, Fcyco lets his music stand for itself. He has previously teamed up with such acts as Bohan Phoenix, LilAkin and Dough-Boy, names which are ubiquitous on the China rap scene.

Sat, Sept 29: Noisemaker @ Mao Livehouse
Defining their music as loud rock, the Hokkaido-based Noisemaker fuse punk, hip hop, R&B, garage and neo-metal into their music, as demonstrated on their second album, Double Color Sheet. This weekend, catch their live show at Mao Livehouse.

Sat, Sept 29: Vyan @ SD Livehouse
Cantonese rapper Vyan is said to have lyrics that can brainwash you. Joined by Xu Zhenzhen in SD Livehouse, the ChillGun Music affiliated musician is intent upon knocking audience socks’ off every time he takes to the stage. He has been busy at work this year, with two albums and one single to his name already in 2018. Get ready.

Sun, Sept 30: Saisa @ T:union
The second Japanese band to hit Guangzhou this weekend, Saisa return to China this autumn after a four-year break. Affiliated with the fantastic post-rock label 1724 Records, Saisa were forced into taking a break from their music after a flurry of releases in 2013 and 2014. With new personnel and, seemingly, a new lease on life, catch this fantastic band in T:union this weekend.
