With global fast food powerhouse McDonald’s announcing last night that its name has changed from 'Maidanglao' to ‘Jingongmen,’ or ‘Golden Arches’ in English, a clever netizen decided to give one of Guangzhou’s most respected academic institutions the super-sized golden arch treatment.

The school in question? Tianhe District’s Jinan University (JNU) main campus.

JNU dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is one of Chinese mainland’s oldest universities. As far as we know, hanbaobao, French fries and Oreo McFlurries are not served on campus.
