CHAMPIONS: Guangzhou Evergrande overcome FC Seoul to win Asia Cup

Guangzhou Evergrande became the first team to win the Asian Champions League since 2001 on Saturday night with a 1-1 (3-3 aggregate) draw to FC Seoul, winning on the away goals rule.

Brazilian forward Elkeson scored the winner for Guangzhou, blasting a shot into the lower right hand corner past goalkeeper Yong Dae-Kim. Dejan Damjanović pulled back an equaliser for Seoul, but Guangzhou's away goals meant a win for the Chinese team.
