It’s Beaujolais Nouveau time! Taste the first wine of the season at this classic French event. Made from Gamay grapes grown in the Beaujolais region of France, this wine is a light-bodied red which is always released on the third Thursday of November. It is fermented for only a few weeks and is the most popular ‘vin de primeur,’ a wine which is enjoyed in the same year it is harvested. Beaujolais Day events are held worldwide, typically a celebration of not just wine but delicious food, music and French culture.

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCIFC) invites you to celebrate the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau 2013 at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich. From 7 to 11.30pm you can enjoy performances, a buffet, a lucky draw and, of course, free-flow wine.

// Pre-sale tickets are RMB280 until November 20, or buy at the door for RMB380. Tickets can be purchased at the CCIFC office, Jardin d’Olive, La Marina or Sofitel. For information or to reserve a table, contact Emeline at 020-8186 5799 or hespel.emeline@ccifc.org
