March 28: Sweeney Todd by the British School of Guangzhou

March 31-April 1: The Best Crew 

Taiwanese TBC (The Best Crew) are the first professional street dance group to teach students on their home turf. The group was crowned champion of the Southeast Asian region in the 2004 ‘Battle of the Year’ – aka 'the Olympics of street dance.' Their eight-part routine will be at show the Guangzhou Opera House.

March 31-April 1: Wuthering Heights by Chapterhouse Theatre Company

Chapterhouse Theatre Company first adapted the work for theater in 2014. Founded in 1999, the group specializes in performing outside, under the stars and at some of the most beautiful gardens the UK had to offer.

April 1: DJ JP Candela

JP has racked up appearances at some of the most prestigious festivals in Europe, including Rock in Rio, Cream-fields, Isle of Dreams, Street Parade and more.

April 1: Aroma Bistro Anniversary Dinner

Ongoing: Tape Art Around the World – China

Tape-Art-Around-the-World--China-1.jpgAvant-garde tape art utilizes duct tape or packing tape as a versatile medium that can be attached to walls or shaped into 3-D sculptures. In cooperation with Redtory, the Consulate General of Germany in Guangzhou is organizing an exhibition where the members of Tape That, a Berlin-based performance art group, can showcase their creative minds. Styles range from colorful, complex installations to minimalist murals.
