Qingyuan’s Jinzi Mountain was blanketed in ice on February 23, prompting one brave man to peel off his upper layers for a seemingly Putin-inspired bare-chested photo shoot.

The above images were posted yesterday afternoon on the Qiangyuan Weather Station's official Weibo account and show the man having a good time in the cold, likely coupled with rock-hard nipples.

While Guangdong is better known for its hot, sticky summers and mild winters, colder weather, particularly at higher levels, occasionally result in snow and ice.

Jinzi Mountain’s peak sits at 1,417 meters above sea level, high enough to get frosty – as also demonstrated back in December when temperatures on the mountain dropped below minus 2 degrees Celsius, similarly resulting in ice

Although we haven’t seen frost or snow in our PRD megacity, there is no doubt it’s sweater weather in Guangzhou and Shenzhen today, with the mercury hovering at 10 and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
