October 31: Punk is Undead

On October 31, T:union will host four terrifying punk bands to thrill you, including Smegma Riot and Yer Murder! Don’t miss this twisted chance to rock out on Halloween.

November 1-2: Romeo and Juliet

Ballet in the 1930s was influenced to a large extent by dramatic theater and one can detect such impact in Russian ballet choreographer Leonid Lavrovsky’s Romeo and Juliet. Presented by the Mariinsky Ballet Company who has witnessed the history of Russian’s choreographic art, this piece, debuted in 1940, conveys absolute faith and self-giving from the two lovers with elegant and refined dance by the soloists of the company. Come to see them while they are on stage in Guangzhou Opera House.

November 3: Mooncake

Founded in 2006, Russian post rock band Mooncake is a group of musicians with a common interest: science fiction, which is embodied in their first album Lagrange Points. The band has undergone several transformations in recent years and now features trumpet, trombone and saxophone, apart from guitar, keyboard and drums, giving sophistication to their compositions and depth to their musical expression.

November 3: Hooley’s Trivia Night

November 4: DJ Ken Loi at W Guangzhou

Named Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2011 by DJ Mag, Ken Loi has a production expertise that’s forged through his experience behind the creation of all dance music genres. Loi supported Tiesto and Kaskade at some of Las Vegas’ most popular venues throughout 2013, the year when he launched his own label Starbright Records. At the beginning of 2016, Loi was aked to DJ the official pre-game VIP party of the Super Bowl 50. He will visit Guangzhou at the W Guangzhou’s Fei this month.

November 4-6: Swan Lake by Mariinsky Ballet

The renowned Mariinksy Ballet Company presents Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s all-time favorite ballet Swan Lake, which was debuted in the ballet company’s very own theater in 1895. After its original score was revised by St. Pertersburg Imperial Theatre’s chief composer Riccardo Drigo, Swan Lake saw its revival. Reserve your tickets to see the graceful ballerinas from Mariisky Ballet Company.

November 5: Disney on Ice

Parents, prepare the rascals for a Disney extravaganza! The spectacular show, Disney on Ice, will be hosted by the adorable Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and many other beloved characters and will feature cartoon-dressed skaters reproducing Disney’s greatest movie plots. Founded in 1981, Disney on Ice has eight different productions and tours throughout America, the Middle East, Europe and Australia. Take the kids on an unforgettable adventure this fall with Disney on Ice!

November 6: Helipad Charity Bootcamp

Join K2Fit's charity bootcamp this Sunday morning where fitness guru Kara Wutzke will give a one-hour class (bring a mat) before having a healthy breakfast on the helipad of Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre. This event will be filmed and it's recommended that you bring a blue or yellow shirt and your best smile to wear. Proceeds will go to Wilber Foundation for Underprivileged Children with Cancer. Space is limited so please reserve your spot ASAP by messaging Wutzke (Wechat ID: Karak2fit).
