While talking in our office this week about next month’s arrival of The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice! one of our editors confessed that he once peed in his pants while at Disneyland out of sheer excitement. We are optimistic this won’t happen again this time (he is an adult now, so we are confident he can keep it together), but that doesn’t change the fact we are thrilled to announce Disney’s return to our fair city.
Considered one of the world’s top ice stage plays, The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice! takes guests on a journey to a fairy-tale world of true love, heroism, beauty and happiness.
The performance’s 2016 China tour will hit six mainland cities, starting in Dalian on October 4 and wrapping up in Changsha on November 13. Guangzhou will be the second last stop, hosting Disney on Ice on November 5.
The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice! will also visit Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, the world’s top ice stage play company, the two-hour show will feature elements from a number of Disney’s most celebrated films, including the recently released Finding Dory and the internationally renowned Frozen.
Sections of The Lion King, Snow White, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story and Rapunzel will also be incorporated into The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice!
Like all Disney on Ice performances, this year’s tour will incorporate figure skating, gorgeous outfits and memorable music to reenact your favorite Disney memories.
