It’s no secret that animals in Asia are fighting an uphill battle. Whether talking about the cruel harvesting of shark fins or the barbaric practice of bear bile farming, we, at That’s, are not alone in believing that something needs to change.
If you share in this belief, or are simply curious about animal welfare in Asia, we encourage you to attend ‘Creating a Voice for Asia’s Animals’ on January 18, at The Canton Club.
The event starts at 7.30pm (registration and networking start at 6.30pm) and will feature a talk by award-winning animal welfare pioneer Jill Robinson, founder of the Animals Asia charity. There will also be finger foods, cocktails and soft drinks, for those of you less interested in the well-being of Asia’s animal.
Originally hailing from the UK, Jill has spent the past 30 years in Asia, dedicating herself to animal welfare work that has earned her numerous awards and plenty of media recognition.
Don’t miss this humbling chance to meet like-minded individuals and hear firsthand about the perils facing the wildlife of Asia!
