November 6-12: GT Italian Film Festival
The Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou, in partnership with GT Land Plaza, presents a series of never-before-seen films by Italy’s rising young directors. Eight movies in total will be played at the Guangzhou Feiyang Cinema throughout November and December. Featuring a collection of diverse titles such as The White Space, Our Land and We Can Do That, this festival is a great opportunity to witness the excellence of contemporary Italian films. November 6: Hansjörg Schellenberger
Born in 1948, Hansjörg Schellenberger is a German oboist and conductor. In addition to serving as the chief oboist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra throughout the 70s, Schellenberger has also dedicated a great part of his artistic activity to chamber music in groups such as the Wind Ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna-Berlin Ensemble. In 1991, he founded the Berliner-Hadyn-Konzerte cycle, which he continues to conduct himself.

November 7: 2015 Spanish Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner
The Spanish Chamber of Commerce’s most significant event of the year is its annual awards ceremony, which recognizes outstanding contributions made by member businesses and organizations to the promotion of commercial activities between China and Spain. Dance and live music performances by both Spanish and Chinese artists will be featured at the event.This event is open to the public. November 8: Trace Bundy
Known to his fans as “The Acoustic Ninja” for his legato and finger tapping skills, Colorado native Trace Bundy began his career at the age of 11 with videos on YouTube and Facebook before signing with record label United Interests. Bundy recounts being influenced by musicians such as David Wilcox, Ani Difranco and Phil Keaggy. This month, the young talent is psyched to astonish Guangzhou with his intricate finger picking arpeggios and multiple capos.
