August 27: Merchants & Co. trivia at Hooley's

Trivia Thursdays at Hooley's

Register your team of four to five people before 8pm to enjoy some mind-bending trivia. Possible rounds include current events, history, general knowledge, geography and pop culture, among others. This week's trivia will also include a connection and photo round. 

Prizes for the top three teams and live music afterwards with The Vibe starting at 10pm.

Arrive early to guarantee you get a table.

August 28: Totally Awesome 80s Party at The Brew Jianshe

August 31: Starry Illusionism

The first art gallery featuring illusion in Guangzhou, audiences should prepare to witness imaginative exhibition halls, including a starry tunnel, infinite space, 3D paintings and a mad lab. If you enjoy art that boggles the mind and feeds the soul, Starry Illusionism may be just the exhibit to inspire you.

September 1-13: Photography for the Pure Belle Bhutan


At the foot of the Himalayas lies this mysterious country, filled with astounding natural beauty and scenic landscapes. In Bhutan, wild animals and natural plants are at your fingertips, attached to everyday life.
The law of the jungle is witnessed
in the mountains, as the blossom fades in the woods. For generations, the Bhutanese have been practicing Buddhism and co-existing with nature. Akinori ito, a Japanese fashion photographer, journeyed into the wonders of Bhutan to capture perfect moments in the so-called ‘land of the thunder dragon.’

The results are now on display at Goelia 225.
