August 18: Peppermoon and Elsa Kopf

[The above video requires a VPN]

Peppermoon is a pop band formed by Parisian Pierre Faa (songwriter and keyboard) and Isis Koshlev (vocals) in 2006. Their first album, Nos Ballades, was self-produced by Pierre Faa in his home studio. It appealed to the Asian market, released first in Taiwan, Japan and Korea in 2009. The album won critical acclaim in France but sold poorly because of its deviation from the mainstream. However, the band’s fans in Asian appear to find affection in their styles. This time, Peppermoon brings their friend musician Elsa Kopf, whose music combines swing, bossa nova and jazz. With Marvelously Dangerous, a newborn album from the living room studio of Pierre Faa, Kopf brings splendid herbarium nostalgic stories and cheeky, catchy melodies.
