Enjoyed in exploring the ancient and profound Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt and Mediterranean civilization, is the journey expensive, long and obstructed? This exhibition, which starts in the summer, allows you and me to travel through the rivers, ancient Egypt and the Mediterranean civilization in depth while we are busy everyday. Ancient Syria is located in the fertile soil belt nourished by rivers and rainfall in the two river basins on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and is one of the oldest birthplaces of civilization in the world. Syria has many cultural relics and historical sites, and rich and colorful national treasures. There are traces of human activities from hundreds of thousands of years ago to tens of thousands of years ago; Since the 8th century BC, Syria has been ruled by the Assyrian, New Babylon, Macedonian, Roman, Arab and other regimes. Various cultures collide, converge and merge here, making this region an important "crossroads of human civilization exchanges", connecting Asian, African and European civilizations. At this wonderful intersection, you can encounter the crystallization of human culture and art left by different periods and civilizations, make people think deeply about the conflict and integration of civilizations, and finally understand that there is something in each other of the world's civilizations. The exhibition gathers more than 200 treasures and cultural relics from nine Syrian museums, including Damascus National Museum and Aleppo Museum, as well as domestic Dunhuang Research Institute, Xi'an Beilin Museum, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum and Guangdong Provincial Museum. It depicts the magnificent ancient history of Syria, shows cultural exchanges between China and Syria in history, and shows the lasting friendship between China and countries along the "the Belt and Road". Take the people you care about to have a careful taste.
