This Wednesday, your favorite local basketball team, Guangzhou Long-Lions (16-13), will face off against the Jiangsu Dragons (13-16) at the Tianhe Gymnasium. This week’s sporting event marks the Long-Lions first Guangzhou home game in over a month. The team played in Foshan throughout December at the newly finished Foshan International Sports and Cultural Center. Wednesday’s game is sure to be electric, with the Long-Lions holding a one-game lead over the Shanghai Sharks and currently in eighth place in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). Meanwhile, Jiangsu has struggled on the road, with an underwhelming 4-10 record away.
