A highly sought-after English band, Slowdive harnesses the best attributes of dream pop, shoegaze, ambient and indie rock to create a sound wholly their own. The group has been around since the late 1980s, but has been relatively inactive on the recording front, that is, until last year. In 2017, Slowdive released Slowdive, their first album in 22 years. This month, the band visits Chinese fans in Guangzhou as part of their second tour of the Chinese mainland.
