A 30-year veteran of the blues and Americana music scene, New Yorker Dave Keyes is known as ‘king of the keys.’ Named the ‘best unsigned artist’ by Keyboard magazine, Keyes has performed with David Johansen, Bo Diddley and rockabilly legend Sleepy LaBeef, to name a few. His albums and live shows are rooted in blues, soul and rock and roll. This month, at Guangzhou Opera House, the blues master will take audiences on a journey through ‘the blues’ – the original and most famous music genre of the American South.
