Even Barack Obama couldn’t resist the onstage fervor of Mora Godoy’s tango performance when the American president visited Argentina. People say football and tango are two of Argentineans’ dearest possessions, and that if you don’t know tango, you don’t know Argentina. So for those of you who are drawn to or interested in tango, you’re in luck, because Mora Godoy herself is visiting Guangzhou this Decemer. Argentina’s most prominent tango artist, Godoy was a ballerina for 15 years before she started learning jazz dance, which constituted the distinctive style of her performances.
