Over thousands of years and through constant cultural exchange, Korea and China have managed to favorably impact each other’s development. In this exhibition, audiences can enjoy a close look at both the distinct and shared traits of Korean and Chinese artwork. Korean artist Kim Jisoo uses ‘hanji,’ a traditional Korean paper, to expresses Korea’s traditional beauty in a very modern way, while Chinese artist Shi Peiyong utilizes Chinese silk to convey Chinese aesthetics in a creative manner.
