Sands Macao is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and two decades of glamour, with a host of events and exclusive special offers available through to May 31, 2024. This includes gastronomic with the ‘Sands 20th Anniversary Dining Rewards’ campaign, a promotional festival of edible delights and special offers. Sands Macao will also be shining a gourmet spotlight on the latest must-try dishes now available at two of its signature restaurants.  

Introducing the Visionaries of Taste

A culinary landmark for 20 years and a pioneer of notable restaurants, Sands Macao is home to two of Macao’s most well-known restaurants Copa Steakhouse and Golden Court. 

Heading up Macao’s first authentic American style steakhouse, Copa Steakhouse, is Portuguese native Daniel Verissimo Sousa. Chef Sousa has worked at prestigious and Michelin-starred restaurants and hotels in Europe and Macao and has introduced a number of exceptional signatures that reflect this experience and his personal style. This includes the classic pan-fried Jumbo lump crab cake; USDA Prime Angus steak tartare served with quail egg and a vibrant balsamic dressing, finished with beef chicharron and caviar; the Copa seafood mixed grill featuring a bounty from the sea, including Boston lobster, abalone, tiger king prawns, Hokkaido scallops, oysters, cuttlefish and octopus; and the perfectly seared USDA Prime ribeye steak elevated by a selection of pairing sauces. Other premium cuts available include tomahawk, tenderloin, New York strip, dry aged rib eye, bone-in New York strip, T-bone, and A4 Kagoshima.

At the award-winning Cantonese restaurant Golden Court, Senior Chef Wong Tak Wing who has worked at noted Cantonese restaurants including Michelin starred, is on a mission to make the restaurant a top choice for inventive and refined Cantonese cuisine. This can be seen and tasted in the restaurant’s signature dishes, such as the fragrant Double-boiled pigeon soup with bird’s nest and Jinhua ham, the unctuous One bite suckling pig with caviar, the creative Macao sole cooked two ways, the elegant Braised morel mushroom stuffed with cuttlefish puree in an abalone sauce, and the juicy Baked chicken in rock salt with extra crispy skin.

Indulge in a Symphony of Flavours 

As a token of gratitude, the ‘Sands 20th Anniversary Dining Rewards’ campaign is offering diners selected dishes for MOP 200 until May 31, a Celebratory Dessert Trio and signature dim sum at Golden Court  priced at MOP 20, and a 20 percent discount on banquet bookings. 

Selected dishes include the sensory delight Grilled octopus with smoked eggplant caviar, capsicum and basilfrom Copa Steakhouse, and from Golden Court Pan-fried duck liver with crispy duck stuffed taro, a dish that combines tradition with contemporary flair. At the innovative Asian cuisine restaurant Moonlight Noodle House, the anniversary set features Tossed noodle with abalone in crab roe and sea urchin sauce, and Double-boiled chicken soup with yamabushitake. All dishes are priced at MOP 200. 

The Celebratory Dessert Trio is an Instaworthy treat and includes Longevity bun with salted egg yolk custard, Pumpkin bun with red bean paste, and Sesame ball stuffed with molten chocolate for only MOP 20. The celebration price also applies to signature dim sum including Golden Court shrimp dumplings and Pork ‘siu mai’ with crab roe.
