Chinese tourists shocked to learn they can't just run around Japan molesting people

"Watching Japanese adult videos, I thought the people here were open about sex." That's the excuse provided by a Chinese tourist arrested in Japan after he and two others were caught sexually harassing multiple women. These guys are probably (read: definitely) going to end up in jail.

According to Focus Asia, there has been a number of recent incidents of tourists sexually harassing - grabbing asses, taking pictures up skirts, etc. Japanese women. When police finally caught up with one of the harassers, his best excuse seems to be a sense of disbelief that porn isn't real.

Three men are currently in custody, according to Rocket24News, and are facing up to six months in prison and a hefty fine.

If their entire conception of Japan is based strictly on what they've seen in, ahem, adult videos, we imagine these three men were pretty shocked when they landed in the country, only to find that the people weren't animated and there weren't weird tentacles everywhere.

In an unrelated note, maybe this was all just a weird attempt to get with that Japanese porn star who was offered up to Chinese workers as a New Year bonus. Porn - it's a hell of a drug.
