A seemingly legless beggar in Wenling, Zhejiang was spotted yesterday changing his disguise and striding the street after hours of panhandling as a destitute cripple.

One netizen followed the beggar for more than an hour yesterday after he gave money to the beggar and asked if he needed any help, which was met with the impatient response “What can you help me with? Get out of my way! You think you have the ability to help me?”

The netizen then followed him and took photos of him asking for money while lying upon a skate board and moving himself forward with his hands. Many pedestrians, market vendors and even children were pictured putting money into his bucket.

More than an hour later, when the beggar's crawling started to slow down and he seemed tired, he started changing out of his ragged clothes and stood upright. After counting how much money he raked in that morning, the beggar hailed a bus and went home.
