Brace yourself: China to get massive Hello Kitty park in Zhejiang

So. Much. Pink. On January 1, 2015, the 'Largest Hello Kitty Part in a All of Asia' will officially open up in Huzhou, Zhejiang. We're talking Hello Kitty Ferris wheels, Hello Kitty bed spreads, Hello Kitty hotels and so much more.

Hold on to your freaking hat, Zhejiang. There is a lot of Kitty going on here, but - considering the projected launch date is only about a month away - there are suspiciously few photos of the park itself. The park's official website is rife with location names ("Steam Kingdom," "Friendship Plaza," "Happy Harbor") but all of the location images are weird, fuzzy illustrations like the one below.

One thing that's definitely real, however, are the hotels. And oh man are they bedecked with everyone's favorite Japanese cat-person. The images (top and below) are literally oozing with a very specific idea of "cute," and the website boasts that this theme is carried over into the food preparation as well...

If anyone happens to be in Zhejiang - and feels like throwing down a couple hundred yuan on a park entry fee, and doesn't mind a train ride and a bus or two to get there - we strongly recommend you to take a look.
