In case you missed our coverage of the annual ‘China Miss Campus’ pageant, we’ve got you covered with this important result: a Korean student wins the whole thing!

Lee Hyun Zhen, the newly-crowned (or fascinatored) “China Miss Campus,” is a Korean national who is studying broadcasting and hosting in Beijing at the Communications University of China.

Lee is also known as “Ice Cream Bar Girl” (not to be confused with Taiwan's “Sexy Ice Cream Girl”) thanks to photos of her eating one circulating online.

Unsurprisingly, this result has once again raised the age-old question of “where have all the Chinese beauties gone?” The debate has consumed countless netizens as well as the state-owned Xinhua news agency.

While netizens and party mouthpieces lament the death of Chinese beauty and speculate about the inevitable Korean cultural invasion (to quote the Doctor, "It's not an invasion, it's an occupation."), why not just sit back and appreciate the beauty of China Miss Campus '14, before they start excluding all non-Chinese from enrolling next year.
