Hello Kitty fans across the inter webs have been distraught and disillusioned over a series of photoshopped images shared by Taiwanese movie site Movie.Talk.TW.

The pictures depict various blockbuster superheroes kitted (or should we say "Kitty-ed"?) out in Hello Kitty-themed versions of their usual get-ups. Although they've been liked and shared thousands of times, however, not all KT fans are delighted:

Looking at these makes me uncomfortable

Don't ruin my Kitty!

God!!! Terrifying

I feel nauseous

So scary...

Stop it!!

Oh my God, my kitty...

I'm crying
