China's tallest Marilyn Monroe statue down in the dump

A giant statue of Marilyn Monroe striking her iconic pose was left at a dump site in Guigang, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region after being torn down on Wednesday.

The 8.18-meter-tall stainless steel statue had been put on display at a local business center since the end of 2013.

Lucky workers got a view usually reserved for baseball legends, famous playwrights and the President of the United States of America...

Don't give up hope of skirts being blown up though, hopefully this Santa will be back in Taiyuan over the Festive Season.
