25 year old dies after running Suzhou marathon

A 25 year old Chinese woman has died after collapsing during the Suzhou marathon on Sunday, ECNS reports.

The unnamed woman collapsed after running for 18 miles during the race. After initially being revived by cardiopulmonary resuscitation, she later died in hospital.

More than 20,000 runners from 30 different countries competed in the international race, with 13 people needing hospital care after the 26 mile course.
