From September 20 to November 3, 2024, Shangri-La Guangzhou collaborates with contemporary artist Luo Jingjing to host an exclusive exhibition featuring the 'BuFan Rabbit' series of artworks.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these art pieces will support the Guangzhou Charity Federation's 'Micro Wishes: Warm Thousands of Homes' initiative, aimed at helping local families in need.
Blending Art, Culture, and Charity
Shangri-La Guangzhou has always been guided by the philosophy of Shangri-La Group, which is to "bring Asia to the world," emphasizing cultural heritage through exceptional hospitality.
This exhibition highlights the rich traditions of Guangdong's culinary, architectural, and folk culture, allowing international and domestic guests to immerse themselves in the region's unique history.
In an effort to give back to the community, 35% of all artwork sales will be donated to the 'Micro Wishes' program, benefiting low-income families, children in need, elderly citizens, and people with disabilities.
Shangri-La Guangzhou's General Manager, Tang Xiaofeng, remarked: "We are deeply rooted in our local community and constantly strive to make a positive impact. We are honored to promote traditional culture through this artistic showcase while supporting local charitable causes. The funds raised will help brighten the lives of families in need, allowing our community to shine even brighter."
