With the weather cooling down and the scenery around Shanghai Disney Resort becoming even more beautiful, autumn is undoubtedly one of the best seasons to visit. Magical Halloween surprises are coming to Shanghai Disney Resort from now until November 3, including new entertainment shows, frightfully good food and beverages, and magical merchandise. The resort will also be celebrating the spookiest of seasons with its first ever late-night Halloween party on October 31, complete with fun party zones, new Disney villains and much, much more! This Halloween, guests are invited to unleash their wicked fun side at Shanghai Disney Resort with their family and friends!

Halloween magic has now spread to every corner of the resort, with pumpkin sculptures, colorful ribbons, beautiful seasonal flowers and leaves, and Disney Friends-shaped jack-o’-lanterns. Halloween is sure to be one of the most action packed events of the year and throughout this frightfully fun season, guests are encouraged to don their spookiest Halloween costumes and dress up as their favorite Disney characters.

Parties, Villains and Not-So-Scary Shows – A Fabulous Halloween Celebration

During the entire Halloween season, Donald’s Halloween Treat Cavalcade will wind along the parade route with Donald and Daisy Duck guiding the celebration to a spooky soundtrack. The spectacle will feature a series of villains, including the return of Maleficent (from Sleeping Beauty, Hades (from Hercules), Dr. Facilier (from The Princess and the Frog), and the Queen of Hearts (from Alice in Wonderland), as well as a number of new never-before-seen-in-Shanghai characters.

Once the sun sets, the Pepsi E-Stage in Tomorrowland will keep the party going with the This IS Halloween! Dance Party. The party is specially designed for young adults and will feature a DJ and a live host. What’s more, Jack Skellington and Sally, from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, will make several appearances, and guests will be invited to join in on the fun and show off their costumes as they party on!

For guests looking for a ghostly surprise, Treasure Cove will once again become the home of a crew of Ghost Pirates in A Trial of Darkness! While guests tiptoe through the haunted land, they will become immersed in a pirate’s world and may even encounter a few spooky surprises along the way.

Spooky musical fun can also be found in Disneytown at the Frightfully Fun Dance Party for young adults. Here, guests can enjoy enchanting lights and upbeat music while a host, Disney dancers and a live DJ help guests celebrate Halloween. Prepare to dress to impress, as guests will have the chance to show off their costumes on stage! Kids and their families are also invited to celebrate the classic Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating by joining the Trick-or-Treat Parade in Disneytown - so get ready for tasty treats and prepare for mischievous tricks!

This autumn, guests can also head to Adventure Isle, where moments from Disney Pixar’s Coco will come to life in Santa Cecilia (Miguel’s hometown). Beloved scenery and characters will once again offer colorful moments and songs perfect for the whole family to enjoy and guests may even get to meet Miguel, himself!
