The weather outside is frightful, but the folks in Qingyuan seem delighted, and were presumably singing ‘let it snow, let it snow, let it snow’ this weekend as a nationwide cold front brought the first snow of the winter to Guangdong.
Temperatures in hilly Lianzhou, a county-level city on the border of Hunan province, got as low as 0 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning according to Southern Metropolis Daily. Netizens dutifully took to the web to show off their frosted windshields, snow-covered paths and tiny makeshift snowmen.
