This morning, a video of a man in Dongguan using a kitchen knife to stop an armored truck went viral.

According to Tencent News, at about 8am a 25-year-old man surnamed Huang was spotted attempting to intercept a cash-carrying truck using only a knife. After witnesses called police, a SWAT team arrived and closed off part of the road, then subdued Huang. None were injured in the process. Based on initial questioning by police, Huang is suspected of being mentally unstable.

A netizen told Tencent News that before Huang walked onto the road and attempted to accost an armored truck, he robbed two boxes from a local food market and threw them into a nearby river for unknown reasons.
