At least two popular restaurants in Beijing's Wudaokou district have announced plans to restrict the number of foreigners allowed on their premises.
According to notices posted in front of Lush and Pyro Pizza, the two businesses will only allow a maximum of 10 foreigners inside at any given time.
The notices state the policy will be in effect through March 22 – just two days after the Two Sessions will wrap up on March 20.
Writing scrawled across Lush's also states that the number of people allowed inside the restaurant is 70, total.
