Chinese anchor-babies to be sent back home by US authorities

Two giant panda cubs born in Atlanta, Georgia are due to leave the US for China later this month.

According to AP, Xi Lan and Po will leave November 24 for the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (and tree climbing) joining their older sibling Mei Lan, who was deported to China in 2010.

The cubs' mother Lun Lun, currently incarcerated in an Atlanta facility, recently gave birth to yet more cubs, despite being an unmarried, single mother dependent on the state for support. Thankfully, Atlanta authorities say they will send the undocumented migrants back to where they belong as soon as they are old enough to travel.
