The term "living legend" is often thrown around for all manner of occasions. However, the moniker is none-the-more fitting for tennis great, Roger Federer, currently living his best life in Shanghai.
In town for the 2017 Shanghai Rolex Masters tournament, Federer tweeted a photo of himself and old friend Yao Ming in a humorous attempt to appear the same height as the former NBA star.
Federer further made headlines last weekend at a promotional event when he entertained those in attendance at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena with an impromptu dance-off with Disney icon, Mickey Mouse.
Throwing shapes like that uncle who's had one too many at your cousin's wedding, it's hard not to watch the footage below without a smile on your face.

A couple of days later, the eight-time Wimbledon winner delighted locals when he casually took Line 13 of the Metro to the ATP World Tour Event. Pictured both at Madang Lu Station and on the train itself chatting with fellow commuters, fans of the Swiss star were dumbstruck by his presence on the train line. (Yes, it was really him).

"It was a great experience to take a metro in Shanghai," said Federer, reports China Plus, "It is clean and fast. Shanghai is home to the largest metro network in the world. This is very cool."
Who knew the 19-time Grand Slam champion was such a fan of public transport?
Federer is now through to the third round of the tournament, but it's his appearances off the court that we're most interested in at this moment in time.

While Federer seems to be enjoying his time here in Shanghai, less can be said about fellow tennis star, Nick Kyrgios, who found himself in hot water for the second year in a row after letting out his frustration against American Steve Johnson by walking off court during the match.
