2 Dead After Knife Attack at Shenzhen Walmart

Two are dead and nine injured after a knife attack yesterday evening in Shenzhen, according to numerous media reports. 

The attack occurred around 9pm, when a man surnamed Jiang, a 30-year-old Chongqing native, entered a Bao’an District Walmart and began attacking people with a "kitchen knife."


Police responded to the scene and arrested Jiang, while the wounded were transported to hospital by medical personnel.

No motive for the attack has been released and authorities are investigating the case.
