We’re in the market for a Database Manager at Urbanatomy Media, China's premier English language media group.

Our products, That's MagazinesThat’s AppUrban Family, as well as our e-commerce platform thMart, cover a wide variety of topics and offer services in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Tianjin and across Greater China, including: News, Restaurants & Dining, Bars & Nightlife, Arts & Entertainment, Events, Lifestyle, Fashion, Culture, Sports, Music, Business, Environment, Technology and much more.

We're looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the following skills:

Requirements

  • Excellent English-language writing skills, with a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, punctuation and style

  • Experience in data entry and database management

  • Experience in content creation and maintenance

  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Mandarin writing, reading and speaking

  • Flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs and challenges facing an evolving media & communications company

Responsibilities

  • Compiling, organizing and maintaining our national database on Thatsmags.com, Urban-Family.comThat’s AppthMart and other digital platforms and products

  • Writing, copyediting and fact-checking of content

  • Contacting appropriate public relations, event and media clients to ensure all materials are up-to-date

  • Assisting in the brainstorming, and smooth set-up of new projects in an ever-evolving marketplace
