Iconic landmarks from around the world will be bathed in green tonight in honor of everyone’s favorite Irish holiday. And the Great Wall is joining in on the annual tradition for the fifth year.

A total of 267 landmarks from 44 countries will be taking part in the initiative, which is part of Tourism Ireland’s 2017 Global Greening campaign. In addition to the Great Wall, other sites that will go green on St. Patrick’s Day include, the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, the Colosseum in Rome, the One World Trade Centre in New York, Disneyland Castle in Shanghai and the Canton Tower in Guangzhou.

A portion of the Badaling section of the wall will glow green tonight. Unfortunately, this event is a private affair, but just to give you an idea of what the wall looks like all lit up, here are some photos taken during years past. And if you still aren’t sure how you’re going to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, you better get on it. Here’s our full guide on tonight’s St. Paddy’s Day parties in Beijing

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
