Bear Grylls' new documentary reality show Absolute Wild will start broadcasting on Dragon TV and livestreaming on Youku today.
The British presenter will take Chinese celebrities on outdoor adventures.
Among some of the big names who agreed to appear on the show are basketball star Yao Ming, Baidu CEO Li Yanhong, Olympic swimmer Fu Yuanhui, actor Han Geng, Taiwanese singer David Zee Tao, Taiwanese actress Ivy Chen, football player Fan Zhiyi and actress Liu Yan.

Absolute Wild episodes were filmed in Sichuan province, as well as the Grand Canyon in the US.
The show is expected to broadcast oversees as it is collaboration between Shanghai Media Group’s Yunji Media and Discovery Networks Asia Pacific.
Edward Michel Bear Grylls, also know as Bear Grylls, is a British TV presenter, famous for his television series Man vs. Wild, Bear’s Wild Weekend, Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Mission Survive and others.
Some of the celebrities featured in Grylls’ show have included Kate Winslet, Ben Stiller, Kate Hudson, Channing Tatum and Michelle Rodrigues. In one of episode, Bear even got former US President Barack Obama to eat salmon that had previously been nibbled on by a bear.
