Shaanxi resident Wang Puzhan has turned the art of making steamed buns into literal art.
The 55-year-old makes steamed buns for festivals and special occasions. But these aren't your average baozi — they've got many different colors and patterns and can cost as much as RMB120!
It typically takes Wang a whole day — including one hour of steaming — to put together these truly spectacular creations, which are known as "Huazhou patterened steamed buns." The craft has over 3,000 years of history in Wang's hometown of Weinan in Shaanxi province.
Don't want none unless you got (the fancy) buns, hon.
