On Sunday, November 6, 75 fitness-inclined Guangzhouers completed a 55-minute workout on top of the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre to raise money for children battling cancer.
The event was organized and led by Guangzhou fitness icon Kara Wutzke, who was inspired to give back to the community – and those in need – after her own brush with cancer earlier this year.
“The Helipad Charity Bootcamp was my way of giving back after all the support I received when I needed it most,” Wutzke told That’s prior to the bootcamp.
The event was a resounding success, bringing in RMB15,750 for the Wilber Foundation’s Kids With Cancer charity and providing 75 lucky individuals with a chance to burn off Saturday night's boozy escapades.
