Wanda Boss Wang Jianlin, who once publicly stated that "China has never had an era of blindly following Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck,” was spotted at Shanghai Disneyland yesterday.
According to the Wanda Group, Wang and his entourage visited the park to "inspect and learn."
It's no secret that Wang has his eyes on the newly-opened Disney park, the first in Chinese mainland Wanda has very ambitious plans to dominate China's theme park industry, with Wang recently declaring the company’s mission to surpass Disney as the world’s largest tourism enterprise by 2020.
