In shocking footage filmed from inside an elevator, a man can be seen repeatedly beating a woman on the head as she raises her arms to defend herself.

The woman had asked the man to stop smoking in the elevator, thinking about her child’s health. But this seemingly innocent request was enough to provoke the man into beating her as her child watched on, horrified and crying.
After the incident, the woman said, “Ever since I was born, I have never seen such a savage and inhumane thug”.
The video has been widely circulated after sparking outrage online, but as of yet police are still searching for the man.
The incident took place on October 12 in Langfang, Hebei province.
