Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is in Beijing this week in hopes of rekindling the country's long-lost friendship with China. 

In a speech to business leaders and government officials yesterday, Duterte announced his friend breakup from Obama—whom he recently called a 'son of a [insert not very nice word here]' a few weeks ago—and said he'd be separating from the United States:

"America has lost now. I've realigned myself in your ideological flow. And maybe I will also go to Russia to talk to Putin and tell him that there are three of us against the world: China, Philippines and Russia. It's the only way."
