On Saturday, a man in Yichang district, Hubei decided to propose to his girlfriend via parachute. As creative as the idea may sound, a strong wind blew the parachute right onto a tree as he was trying to land. The poor lover was stuck on the tree for nearly an hour before he had to call a crane to come to the rescue.

Unfortunately for our parachuting hero, the proposal didn't get any better from there. When he finally came down from the tree and got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend, things did not go as he had wished. His girlfriend was apparently so embarrassed that she turned away and left the poor man... hanging.

Perhaps a giant sperm costume would have been better more direct.
