PHOTOS: How China Has Changed in 100 Years

Curious to see how China has changed over the last 100 years? Photographer Dheera Venkatraman took on the challenge of venturing to different cities across China to recreate photos from 100 years ago. From Shanghai to Guiyang, Venkatraman found old photos of historical sites, bridges and land, and decided to reshoot them.

The photos are shot using almost exactly the same angles and from the same points. Dheera allows us to travel through time and gives us a beautiful insight into China in the 1900's.
