So many "China podcasts" are just that – about Chinese history, politics or other, similarly wonky subjects. Not that there's anything wrong with that (we love us some history) but, sometimes, we yearn for the lighter side of China – and now, Kung Fu Komedy has delivered. This week, the Kung Fu Komedy krew chat with Steve Simeone, the nicest guy in standup today.
Yunus Emre Karasakal is an instructor and competition fighter in Brazilian Jiujitsu, and a huge proponent developing the sport in China. He’s also been a blackbelt in karate since he was 18. He’s made impressive sacrifices in his life to do something he’s really passionate about, and he’s got a great story about surviving fights at a tournament between bouts of a really bad belly.
Every
week, Andy Curtain tracks down the most interesting person he can find
and asks them what they're doing in China. To subscribe, add the Stuck in the Middle podcast on iTunes, or copy this link to use in your favorite podcatcher app.
